AGM and Registration for 2018/19
Hey Everyone, friendly reminder the AGM is on Wednesday April 25th 7:30pm the location is switched from the Goal Post to the Parkhill Community Center. Remember to attend the AGM you will receive your $50 AGM cheque back, if you do not attend the AGM we will cash your $50 cheque.

Registration

There are 12 Executive Positions this year:· President· Secretary· Ice Convenor· OMHA rep· Ref Coordinator· Equipment Manager·  Novice Silver Stick Director·  Lawrence McGee Tournament Director·  Dispute Committee Coordinator·     Mite/IP Coordinator·     Player Development Coordinator.   


President

* 2-year term

* Cheque signing authority

* Preside at all the meetings of the Association and Executive Committee.

* Act as the official representative of the Association.

* First contact for members & OMHA involving complaints or team/player related issues or policy/procedure issues

* Assist all executive members when necessary

 

Secretary

* 2-year term

* Cheque signing authority

* Attend executive meetings

* Create meeting minutes

* Maintain all records for NMDMHA

* Administration duties as required

* Voting position

 

Ice Convenor

* 2-year term

* Organize & arrange all ice time for teams

* Update web site schedule & post games on web site

* Organize playoff times for teams

* Maintain ice schedule for association.

* Work with coaches, LL and Shamrock Reps to find ice for rescheduling.

* Maintain full operation of NM website. Post and email news and updates for membership. Answer general email questions or direct emails to proper contacts.

* Use onedb.com to post schedules at the beginning of the season.

* Voting position

 

OMHA rep

* 2-year term

* Submit & maintain all forms regarding players & teams to OMHA web site

* Contact person for OMHA regarding players

* Register all team & coaches into OMHA web site

* Submit Travel Permits

* Verify all qualifications for coaches and bench staff.

* Verify all required documents for parent and players.

* Voting position

 

 

 

Ref Coordinator

* 2-year term

* Schedules referee's and time keepers for all games in our centre

* Schedule Ref’s & time keepers for all tournaments

* Voting position

 

Equipment Manager

* 2-year term

* Organize & maintain all jersey & equipment

* Ensure that necessary equipment is available to coaches/players

* Ensure that all equipment is properly accounted for

* Non-Voting position

* Report the Vice President

* Attendance at executive meeting not required

 

Novice Silver Stick

* 2-year term

* Organize Silver Stick tournament

* Must be present at Silver stick tournament

* Ensure that all requirements by International silver stick committee are satisfied

* Report to fundraising executive

* Director must attend Silver Stick AGM once every 2 years

* Non- voting position

* Attendance at executive meeting not required

 

Lawrence McGee Tournament

* 2-year term

* Organize Silver Stick tournament

* Must be present at Silver stick tournament

* Ensure that all requirements by International silver stick committee are satisfied

* Report to fundraising executive

* Director must attend Silver Stick AGM once every 2 years

* Non- voting position

* Attendance at executive meeting not required

 

Tournament Director:

* 2-year term

* Organize March Break tournament

* Must be present at March Break tournament

* Report to fundraising executive

* Non- voting position

* Attendance at executive meeting not required

 

Dispute Committee Coordinator:

· Coordinate’s committee for grievance process.

· Head coordinator during grievance meetings/interviews.

· 1 year position

· Non-Voting

 

Mite/IP Coordinator:

· Informing parents about the IP program.

· Facilitates an information session about North Middlesex Minor Hockey such Respect in Sport, Code of Conduct, etc.….

· Scheduling games with other associations.

· IP Coordinator must follow OMHA guidelines and Standards

· 2 year term

· Non-Voting position

 

Player Development Coordinator:

· Coordinate and plan Player Development for all players such as:

· TPH

· Goalie Clinic

· Power Skating for IP’s and Mites

· Body Checking Clinic

· 1 year position term

· Non-Voting Position
