We are excited to offer PowerSkate to our NM players in the new year!
We have partnered with Corey DeJong to provide a 6-week power skating program for our NMDMHA Jr. Stars during January and February 2026. Corey is a Skate Canada NCCP PowerSkate–trained coach and currently works with several skating clubs in Middlesex County and London. PowerSkate is a high-energy program designed specifically for hockey players, focusing on key skills such as balance, control, agility, power, and speed. The program features progressive drills that help sharpen players’ skating in real-game situations.
Session Dates & Times:
U7 / U9: Tuesdays, 7:30–8:20 AM - January 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, and 24
U11 / U13: Thursdays, 7:30–8:20 AM - January 22, 29, February 5, 12, 19, and 26
Cost:
$80 for the full 6-week program or $20 per single session
Registration & Payment:
• Please sign your player up using their first and last name in the correct age division.
• Payment must be sent to [email protected] by January 10, 2026. Be sure to include your player’s full name and age group in the payment details.
Players who are not paid in full by this date will be removed from the sign-up sheet.
Important Notes:
• Priority will be given to players registered for the full 6-week program.
• If sessions are filled by full-program participants, single-session players may be bumped and will receive a full refund.
• Any remaining spots will be filled based on sign-up order.
