Team Official Qualification Requirements For All OWHA & OMHA Bench Staff
All qualifications listed are the MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
• All Team Officials (Coach, Asst. Coach, Trainer, and Manager) require Respect in Sport (RiS) - Activity Leader or Speak Out!
• All Team Officials (Coach, Asst. Coach, Trainer, and Manager) require Gender Identity & Expression Course
• All Team Officials (Coach, Asst. Coach, Trainer, and Manager) must complete Rowan’s Law Resource Review & Acknowledgement
.
• All qualifications must be registered in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) (Click below for full details)
• All Coaches, Asst. Coaches and Trainer must have the correct certification for the proper age group up to date. (Click below for full details)
• All Team Officials (Coach, Asst. Coach, Trainer, and Manager) require must have a up to date Vulnerable Sector Check Form (Police Record Check)
• ONLINE Checking course Must be completed prior to registering for any stand-alone *Coach 2 - Coach Level or *Coach – Development 1 qualification clinic.
