ALL OWHA players U9 and up who intend to play for NMDMHA, regardless of whether they are trying out for a team or not, MUST register on RAMP under “Tryout Registration”. This allows us to begin to organize team numbers, including non rep teams.

 

The tryout fee of $100 ONLY applies to those intending to tryout for a competitive team. 

U5 and U7 girls will register under OMHA, not on RAMP.

Tryout/intent to play registration will be listed as “Tryout Registration” under THIS season (2025/2026), but will apply to NEXT season (2026/2027)

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Tryout Registration will be open March 25, 2026 - May 3, 2026.

Tryout Fee - $100

A $100 tryout fee must be sent via e-transfer to [email protected] by April 25th, 2026.

Must be paid in order to be allowed on the ice for any tryout sessions.

Please include your player's name, age group, and the word "tryout" (e.g., "Jane Smith U11 Tryouts").

If you/your child are successfully selected to participate on a team, you will receive an email including an offer letter with a link to register.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Female players who are playing on any of the North Middlesex Minor Hockey Girls teams MUST register under the RAMP website.

This does NOT include any girls who are playing on any of the U5 or U7 teams. They must register with OMHA.

*Please note that registration for all age groups have limited spots available.

NEW for 2026/2027 We are very excited about the number of young athletes showing interest in our Jr. Stars program for the upcoming season!  Please note that registration for all age groups have limited spots available.  Following registration, ALL players will be placed on a temporary wait list until their registration is reviewed and approved by the registrar.  Team sizes and the number of teams for each age group are based on our registration numbers and available icetime.  Registrations are processed on a first-come first-served basis, except when team size limits are exceeded. In those cases, priority will be given to returning North Middlesex players. To secure your place, we encourage you to register as early as possible.   If there are not enough/too many players registered in a specific age group for a team, NMDMHA will do everything possible to ensure all returning players have a place to play.

IMPORTANT Team roster size and number of teams are subject to change from season to season and remain at the discretion of the Executive. Final confirmation of accepted registrations will be sent at a later date, TBD. ATTENTION U9 & Up GOALIES - New for 2026/2027 NMDMHA is offering a new incentive to all of our goalie families as we know the importance of development in this position and the retention of goalies as an association. For our rostered goalies, NMDMHA is offering to reimburse costs incurred by seeking goalie development, up to the amount of the player’s registration fee.  Valid receipts must be submitted to the Executive, which will be subject to review and approval.  Once approved, goalie families will receive reimbursement for the development costs incurred.  The full registration fee must be paid upon registration, and families are responsible for paying for development costs up front. Only after approval of receipts submitted to the Executive will reimbursement be issued. For example: A U11 goalie with a registration fee of $700 registers for NMDMHA. The full registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. Throughout the season, this goalie participates in multiple professional licenced development skates/camps designed for goalie development. This U11 goalie family may submit valid receipts to the Executive for the costs incurred for these development skates/camps and upon approval, will receive reimbursement up to the amount of $700.

How to Register on RAMP (U9 & up)

To register under the RAMP Portal, you MUST create a “NEW ACCOUNT” to begin, if you don’t have an account from a previous year.

Once you have created your account, you can add the family member (players and guardians’ information)
who will be registering under the RAMP portal.

RETURNING PLAYERS:

ANY REGISTRATION AFTER THE DEADLINE OF MAY 15, 2026 WILL HAVE A LATE FEE OF $200.

REGISTER:

1. Select PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION

2. Select SEASON 2026/2027

3. Select FAMILY MEMBER (complete all info that is needed. The HCRID is not needed)

4. Choose a DIVISION

5. Refer to North Middlesex Minor Hockey webpage under “Registration” tab for further instruction/payment requirements 

 

WAIVERS:

REGISTRATION, CODE OF CONDUCT and ROWAN’S LAW must be signed by the participant.

PHOTO CONSENT must be signed by parent/guardian.

Parent/Guardian signature is required at the bottom once all waivers have been signed.
